I have been feeling pretty nauseous the last 2 days. It seems to me that the nausea has a tendency to kick in on day three. Right now, that is the worst part. The tingling in fingers and toes seems to be less pronounced this time. No headaches. Night sweats still gone. My tongue tastes like metal. Energy still pretty low, but I am doing some work today, and that is going fine. Although I get distracted pretty easily... which is how I ended up writing this post.

Keep on being distracted! I love our geek discussions on Apple vs. the world of common sense!
Love Benjamin
For those of you who don't know, Microsoft bought a majority stake in Denmark a few years ago. Unfortunately, Benjamin, like many Danes, has had his view of the technology world skewed by this investment. For example, he thinks Dell computers are the neatest thing since sliced bread.
Anyway, he is about to head out on a 2 week visit to San Francisco, and I have been trying to prepare him for the shock when he discovers that there are actually a lot of people (besides me) who own Macs. He isn't buying it though. He told me Steve Ballmer said it wasn't true.
Yes, Yes keep it coming! The Church of Apple rises again on the S.D. blog!! I'm really not a fanatic Microsoft fan or Apple hater. I'm just trying to apply a cool and rational approach (as opposed to religiuos and one-eyed) to an object made of plastic, aluminum and silicon. Factors like market share, price and support for third party software are always my pivotal points.
Hey Kevin,
I know Benjamin is suppportive and all with the Sympathy Shave but is there any way to block him from posting stuff like that. It is kind of offensive.
Scott
I don't know Scott, I think it's kind of cute. Some of the stuff he says reminds me of the PC guy on those funny Apple commercials.
Now that's a typical Apple approach: If it's not compatible with our proprietary platform/ideology we just don't want to relate to it. And that commercial is really arrogant stigmatizing 99% of all computer users as nerds just because 1% think they are more cool - remember Apple is a business too. They want to earn money too, so the hip relaxed Apple guy is really the nerd blinded by "coolness" paying 30% more for a computer that integrates to 70% less applications. Yes I'm still smiling!!
Well, even the best discussions eventually bite themselves in the tail. I think at this point it would be most efficient if I just refer to my first reply, where I write, "For those of you who don't know, Microsoft bought a majority stake in Denmark a few years ago. Unfortunately, Benjamin, like many Danes, has had his view of the technology world skewed by this investment."
Hopefully on his trip out of Denmark, he will discover that not quite 99% of computer users are nerds.
But for the record Benjamin, I think you're cool regardless of how much you like to despise Apple :-)
Make love not computers!

Benjamin,
A perfect way to end it. :-)
For some reason the last part of the link was truncated in the comment so here is a
